Valentine's Lovin'

Some pics I took of the kids for St. Valentine's Day... couldn't get the "one good shot" I wanted, but a few of these are pretty cute anyway. :)

Snowflakes, up close and personal ;)

Considering that snow is an almost daily happening here in the North Country (for at least half of the year, anyway) I thought I'd share a bit of it with you.  :)  Literally, a bit... as you can see, these are super-close-up snowflakes, with our inexpensive but awesome Canon camera. :)  I had no real way of stabilizing the camera, but a few of the flakes are quite visible, in all their crystalline beauty. :)

And... the great thing about living here is that no one complains about snow - unless there is not enough of it! ;)  I suppose you might catch me complaining if they get over 12 feet in less than two weeks' time (it happens every now and then) ...but otherwise... let it snow!!   The beauty never ceases to amaze me. :)
